Commercial crews are chosen by the Key Grip based on their skills and professionalism. Rigging Grips and Dolly Grips are provided to suit production.

Union Shoots
The Key Grip chooses a dedicated Best Boy, Dolly Grip and/or Rigging Grip from the Union roster, according to the needs of the production. All other grips must be provided by I.A.T.S.E. 891, according to seniority.
